This is a listing of music that was (partially) made with linux and is really well recorded IMHO.
Wether you like the style of music is a totally different question of course :-)

Hi, how are you?
Seeking music made with GNU + Linux, I found this post.
So I would like to share this album, which I had the pleasure of producing and collaborating with keyboards.
"Dolce Farniente" is a rustic-rock band from Argentina, with an spontaneous and raw sound.
"Amaro" was recorded by direct shot (one take!) in a rehearsal room. Then from my home studio, we made some additional recordings.
I used ArchLinux, Ardour, Calf Plugins, Guitarix LV2, KlangFalter (DISTHRO), setBfree and Audacity.
I hope you like it.

ReplyDeleteBoth Fusion Orchestra 2's "Casting Shadows" and the self-titled "Patchwork Cacophony" were and recorded entirely in Linux with Ardour. Both are prog-rock featuring real instruments and musicians rather than plugins or soft-synths, but all the processing and mixing was Ardour, TAP, CAPS etc.
